A study day examining various aspects of the story and music of The Rape
of Lucretia will take place in the Younger Hall on Saturday 12 June. The
provisional list of speakers includes Professor Karla Pollmann from the
University’s School of Classics, and Professor Gill Plain and Dr Emma Sutton
from the School of English; Michael Downes will also lead a discussion of the
music with live contributions from singers involved in the production. Further details will be available nearer the time.
