A highly successful revival, directed by Aidan Lang, featured important company debuts by the Lithuanian conductor Gintaras Rinkevicius, who led a fierily dramatic account of the score, as well as Violet Noorduyn and Teddy Tahu Rhodes. There were also welcome returns by Andrea Szántó and Peter Auty.
