The second visit of ETO to the Perth Festival brought more conventional repertoire, in Don Giovanni and Traviata. The Mozart had last been seen in the Festival's own staging in 1990, featuring Anthony Michaels-Moore, and there was nothing here to compare with that. But it still worked reasonably well within the confines of a modern-dress production.
