Rory Boyle, a staff member at the Royal Conservatoire, won the British Composer Award for this mysterious tale of the young man kept in captivity in early 19th century Germany. The work has attracted international attention, most particularly in Nuremburg, where the events occurred.

This new production, conducted by graduate Jessca Cottis, with singers from the Nuremburg Hochschule, and RCS musicians, will be performed in Germany before these two special performances in Scotland.

The performances are supported by Creative Scotland, Glasgow City Council Twinning Office and Nuremburg City Council.
