In Edinburgh, this intermezzo appeared under the title Tracollo, or The Amorous Robber. It was nearly as popular as La serva padrona, which Pergolesi had composed the year before.
On this British tour, which certainly took in Edinburgh, Newcastle, Durham, York and Manchester, as well as (presumably) London, the various intermezzi by Pergolesi, Jommelli, Carbonini and Rinaldo di Capua were played in conjunction with a variety of contemporary orchestral works.
