Derek Blyth gives a talk that exposes some of Wagner's purple passages.  Pit your wits in a quiz concerning Wagner's love music, moving from the serious to the light hearted and along the way exposing some of the great truths to be found in the master's music.  Derek Blyth was born near Edinburgh and for twenty years has worked in the north-west of England.  He has conducted choirs, orchestras and opera groups along the way and has several times spoken on Wagner to the Manchester Wagner Society.
