The Met's very grand, traditional production of Verdi's ancient Egyptian drama featured Liudmyla Monastyrska as the enslaved Ethiopian princess caught in a love triangle with Radamès, played by Roberto Alagna, and the Egyptian princess Amneris, sung by Olga Borodina. Fabio Luisi was the conductor.
