The irrepressible Pinafore now came on its third Scottish tour, with a completely new batch of performers. One of these, Fred Billington, went on to an extensive career with the company, singing the roles created by Rutland Barrington - Pooh Bah, King Hildebrand, Sergeant Willis, etc. He continued to tour until a few days before his death in 1917.

The second half of the week was devoted to The Sorcerer, and the curtain-raiser every evening was In the Sulks.

Cast from The Comet in the Lamb Collection 253(5), Dundee City Library.

Dates for additional venues, including Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeen all to be confirmed.
