The provincial tour of The Grand Duke featured Henry Lytton, playing opposite his own wife in the role of Julia Jellicoe. The twenty-four performances do not seem to have set the heather on fire. This is a complete contrast with the success of Utopia Limited, which ran for weeks in 1894.
