In addition to the performance in Dundee, the company travelled to Arbroath on April 15 (a local holiday in Dundee) to give a performance in the new Public Hall.

This was claimed to be the first professional operatic performance in Arbroath.  The very long programme for the evening consisted of a complete performance of The Barber (cast as advertised),  preceded by two acts of Il trovatore.

A special train left Arbroath at midnight, dropping off members of the audience at Carnoustie before returning the performers to their lodgings in Dundee.

This cast is as advertised for Arbroath.
