Everyone is welcome to attend meetings of Friends of Scottish Opera in all parts of the country - not just members and guests, but those interested in finding out first-hand about the enjoyment to be had in supporting Scotland's national Opera Company. The Friends Manager, Anne Higgins, based in Scottish Opera 's headquarters iin Glasgow, is always willing to field enquires and to help folk find their bearings.

Strathclyde branch meetings are held at the headquarters of Scottish Opera in Elmbank Crescent, Glasgow. Study Days are held on a Saturday, and run from 10.30am to around 3.30pm. A regular speaker will introduce the work in the morning and in the afternoon representatives of the cast, production and music teams will talk about Scottish Opera's production.
