The University's Early Music Ensembles and the Aberdeen Musical Society present a fully staged and costumed performance of Eccles' opera The Judgment of Paris. It is one of four works composed in the year 1700, all four using the same libretto which was supplied by the great dramatist William Congreve. This curious enterprise was offered as part of an audience-judged "Musick Prize" for the purpose of promoting English-language opera.
Tickets available on the door - £8 adults, £5 concession, £2 students and children.
