A study course on Wagner's last and arguably greatest music drama, conducted by Derek Watson B. Mus., LRAM.

The course is held at Gartmore House near the Trossachs, and starts with dinner on Thursday 4 September followed by the first teaching session, and will finish at breakfast on Tuesday 9 September. Derek will guide us through a historical, mythological, and analytical journey through this great work, using the text, musical score, recordings, piano illustrations and visual material and culminating in a film screening on the last afternoon and evening.
