Midsummer Opera, as the name suggests, was established to provide open air performances in appropriate weather conditions. The location was generally an attractive garden in North London. However that was no reason to restrict performances, and this one-off trip to Scotland provided a charming entertainment for a Sunday evening in mid-winter.
