This was a consciously cheap week of performances of three varied comic pieces, all with small casts, and accompanied, not even by chamber orchestra, but by two pianos, played by Muriel Sturrock and Elaine Ramsden.
The delightful Donizetti romp was the last piece in an evening that had started with Pergolesi's Serva Padrona and been continued with Menotti's Telephone.
Casts from reviews in the Dundee Courier & Advertiser.
