The largest audience for an operatic event in Scotland this year is expected to be the only BP Big Screen event - Mozart's Don Giovanni in a live outdoor screening from the Royal Opera House, London. Free to all with the generous support of BP, Duthie Park in Aberdeen once again plays host to the BP Big Screens.
An excellent cast including Christopher Maltman as Mozart's timeless anti-hero and Dorothea Röschmann, Rolando Villazón and Albina Shagimuratova star in this mesmerizing production from the Royal Opera's Director of Opera, Kasper Holten, with spectacular designs from Es Devlin.
Entry to the big screen in Duthie Park is via Polmuir Road or Riverside Drive.
You are welcome to bring picnics and your own portable seating; however no glassware, cans, barbecues or naked flames are allowed. A selection of hot and cold soft drinks and light snacks will be available to purchase. Please dress appropriately for the anticipated weather conditions. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Aberdeen City Council reserves the right to refuse admission.
Where possible please use public transport as parking is limited to the Riverside Drive car park. Bus Route 17 stops at Duthie Park.
