Read more about the opera Lady, Be Good!

The first great success by the Gershwin brothers had opened on Broadway in 1924. The first British production had its premiere eighteen months later, with a pre-West End tour that included Glasgow. This touring company followed on, by which time the Astaires had returned to New York to star in a further Gershwin show, Funny Face.

This cast assembled from reviews in the Dundee Courier & Advertiser and Dundee Evening Telegraph & Post also mentions, in unspecified roles, Nina Barry, Dorothy Graham and Alec Johnstone. Further details, including additional tour venues, to be confirmed.
