The RSAMD performs a Britten chamber opera at regular intervals. Since Scottish Opera now ignores this important area of the repertoire it is a useful opportunity for audiences as well as young singers.

This cast is drawn from a programme in the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland archive. Of particular note is the Glasgow schoolboy playing the role of Harry, eventually to become a notable conductor.
