Scottish Opera packs up its theatre on wheels and brings three pop-up operas out on the road to Perth.
12.00 A Little Bit of Northern Light
14.00 A Little Bit of Figaro
15.00 A Little Bit of Mikado
Performed by a storyteller, singers and instrumentalists, and supported by a set of colourful illustrations, each show gives a fantastic introduction to opera. It will be in a converted trailer, recreating the Theatre Royal in Glasgow and parked beside Perth Concert Hall in Mill Street.
A Little Bit of Figaro and A Little Bit of Mikado are cleverly re-written versions of the full operas and are suitable for all ages.
These shows are free but you will need to reserve places in advance from the Box Office. There is a limit of four places per booking.
A Little Bit of Northern Light tells the story of one lonely little lighthouse standing firm against the storms of the North Atlantic tide specifically created for 4 to 8 year olds.
Local schools will be visiting the trailer on Thursday 26th and Friday 27th May.
