Figaro was not particularly popular at this time - certainly it appears with nothing like the frequency we would expect today.

This Monday evening Moody-Manners cast at the Lyceum is detailed in a programme from the Farmer collection, (Glasgow University Special Theatre Collection). It also has a cast for the following evening's Carmen (with Zélie de Lussan in the title role and Lewys James as Escamillo).
