As part of the Soundfestival, Scotland's Festival of New Music, two pairs of students present their own short operas in association with the University of Aberdeen and Scottish Opera.
For the past three years, Scottish Opera has been working with undergraduate writers and composers in the University of Aberdeen to encourage the next generation of opera makers. Guided by experienced mentors, last year's students created short operas which premiered at 2015's Soundfestival.
