Raucous Rossini made a welcome return with a new production of Scala di seta. This completed their ambitious plan to mount all five of Rossini's delightful early one-act farces. Unfortunately, it seems there are no plans for further explorations - definitely our loss. As before, performances were given in Glasgow and a second Scottish venue in the east, followed by explorations to Southern England and Italy.

Several of the names were familiar from previous tours, again conducted by Maximilian Fane. The director was Jeanne Pansard-Besson, Singers included Yara Zeitoun, Colin Murray and Sam Jenkins with the Raucous Rossini orchestra.
