Any of these Meetings of the Friends are open to members and guests; prospective members are welcome at any time. Just contact your local branch through the details given, or contact the Friends Manager, Anne Higgins, at Scottish Opera's head office at Elmbank Crescent, Glasgow on 0141 248 4567.

Amongst the privileges of Friends is the chance to book free entry to the dress rehearsal of the main stage performance, subject to having bought a ticket for later in the run of performances. Look out for details.

Forth Valley

Forth Valley Branch meetings take place monthly at 2.30pm in the Smith Art Gallery and Museum, Stirling (except the Spring lunch) until April. Entrance £5 (£1 students) or book all meetings for £30

Perthshire branch meetings take place in the Royal George Hotel, Tay Street, Perth PH1 5LD on Sunday afternoons at 2.30pm. Entrance £8 (or book all four meetings for £25) including tea, coffee or a glass of wine or soft drink.
