Cast taken from the Scotsman review (5 March) which referred to fine singing wedded to fine acting. "Mr Charles Webber conducted an admirable performance. There was anartistic 'period setting, of about the middle of last century."

According to the Scotsman review (12 March) other parts were played by Esther Martin, Ivor Evans, George Hancock and Emlyn John. "Full justice was done to Verdi's lovely music by the orchestra, under the baton of Mr Charles Webber."

The tour consisted of one week at the King's Theatre, Edinburgh then two at the King's Theatre, Glasgow.
