Pianist Derek Clark will accompany soprano Catriona Clark (Ethelinda), Roger Paterson (Lionel), Douglas Nairne (King Elver) and Francis Church (Sir Conrad) in two special evening performances which will introduce excerpts from Lady Mildred Jessup's opera Ethelinda to British audiences. She was Mildred Bowes-Lyon, second daughter of the 13th Earl and Countess of Strathmore and Kinghorne. These concerts will be given in the Drawing Room at Glamis Castle on Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th April 2019.

The renowned composer, Dr Tommy Fowler, who has meticulously researched Mildred’s music, will be in attendance to provide an introduction and answer questions from the audience. Tickets are now available for these performances, 125 years after Lady Mildred’s opera was performed in Florence.
Places are limited.
It is hoped to present a full performance in the near future.
