A brief review can be found in the Glasgow Herald (3 April).
"On Saturday the large audience attracted to the Grand Theatre were treated to excellent performances. Mr Edward Davies who was Turiddu...sang all through in his best style, and was much applauded. Miss Una Brookshaw took a rather exaggerated view of the gestures and actions necessary to reflect the position of Santuzza. The band, under Mr Eugene Goossens, made the most off the music, and of course had to repeat the popular intermezzo."
