A nominal review appeared in the Scotsman 10 July, which says only "It attracted a large audience, and a fine performance was given, with Miss Aimée Kemball in the title part, Miss Annie Wallace appearing as the Countess, Mr Harrison Cook as Sergeant Sulpice and Mr John Perry as Tony."
