Professional soloists will join Paisley Opera's Amicus Orchestra and full community chorus in four performances of Mascagni's one-act melodrama. It is to be given under the title A Paisley Kiss. NB A 'Glasgow Kiss' originated as a slang expression for a stabbing - highly appropriate for this particular opera.
It is to be given at a new venue in Central Road, a former bus and taxi hub.
