This excellent Lyceum staging of Guys and Dolls was produced the year before it was given a major London revival at the National Theatre by Richard Eyre, himself a former assistant director at the Edinburgh venue. That wonderful production eventually toured to Edinburgh in 1985.

Ray Lonnen had a useful career on TV and made an excellent Sky Masterson with a good singing voice.  James Cairncross was a leading member of the Scottish theatrical profession for several decades.  Campbell Morrison also worked with several of the Scottish theatre companies.  Robert Daws is perhaps more familiar from work in the London theatre and on TV.
