Iain Fraser,-co-creator with his two brothers Peter and Stephen, of the website Opera Scotland for listings and performance history gives a talk in which he outlines stories from the operatic stage in Scotland. All brothers are delighted to be part of the Festival.
Scots have always been keen on the performing arts, and opera was no exception, once being much more popular widely performed than it is today. Many colourful characters, stars of their day, are introduced and give some idea of the forgotten part opera has played in Scotland’s cultural history.
