The Edinburgh Players Opera Group continues its progress through the Ring which was interrupted by Covid after Das Rheingold. The company also returns to the renovated Portobello Town Hall.
As always, Mike Thorne conducts an assembly of enthusiastic orchestral players all contributing to the costs of the enterprise. Three days of hectic rehearsals culminate in a full run through joined by a cast of volunteer soloists, many trying out roles they have long coveted.
The Sunday run through starts at 10.30 and will continue until 16.45.
Audience members will be welcome, with a suggested contribution to costs of the enterprise, in previous years £15.
