Read more about the opera Carmen

These two weeks in Aberdeen and Dundee both featured one of the company stars, Zelie de Lussan, in two of her best roles. On Monday evening she sang Delilah, a recent addition to her repertoire. Now on Thursday she sang Carmen, a part she had performed with astonishing frequency - over 1000 times - through most of her career.

This cast is taken from a programme in Aberdeen City Library, and all but one of the roles (Moralès) is included in the review the following week in the Dundee Evening Telegraph & Post.
