Mr Wood's Edinburgh Italian Opera

Mr Wood, an Edinburgh-based impresario, took a great risk in bringing to Edinburgh a company that performed at the Theatre Royal from mid-December 1853 to early March 1854. They also gave a dozen performances in Glasgow.
