As a theatre designer, Adam Pollock worked on several productions with Anthony Besch, including Scottish Opera's Albert Herring, The Mikado for D'Oyly Carte and Il turco in Italia in Toronto. Most of his operatic career has been spent in Italy, where he was founder of the Batignano Festival in Tuscany, an excellent training ground for young singers, musicians and directors.
