Natalia Kutateladze Suggest updates

Born Tbilisi.

Georgian mezzo-soprano.

Natalia Kutateladze trained at the Tbilisi State Conservatoire.  In 2015 she moved to New York to continue her studies under Edith Wiens at the Juilliard School.  Roles there ranged from Handel (Ottone Agrippina) to Dove (Minskwoman Flight).  In 2018 she moved to the Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich, joining their Young Artists' Studio.  She was a finalist in the 2021 BBC Cardiff Singer of the World Competition.

Operatic appearances include Santiago (Carmen); Munich (Phèdre Hippolyte et Aricie, Ottone Agrippina, Marcellina Le nozze di Figaro, Flowermaiden Parsifal); Tbilisi (Dalila Samson et Dalila; Mercédès Carmen, Marcellina); Dublin NSO (Carmen).
