English mezzo-soprano.

Glenice Halliday worked with the Carl Rosa company as well as Sadler's Wells (Kate Pinkerton 1952) and Covent Garden (Flosshilde in the Ring 1955). She later moved to Germany.  She was, for several seasons, a member of the company at Hagen, where her roles included Mamma Lucia in 1973 and Klytemnestra in 1981.
