William Wegener Suggest updates

American tenor.

William Wegener, having gained experience on the Continent (at Freiburg), joined the Carl Rosa in 1913, to perform the dramatic tenor repertoire.  He returned for several seasons during which he sang in operas by:  Wallace (Don Caesar);  Wagner (Tannhäuser,  Lohengrin);  Verdi (Manrico,  Radamès);  Boito (Faust);  Offenbach (Hoffmann) and Leoncavallo (Canio).
