Vito Priante made his debut in 2002 at the Teatro Goldoni, Florence, as Uberto in La Serva Padrona. Since then he has appeared widely in Italy, making further appearances at the Florence Maggio Musicale, as well as at La Scala in Milan, the Fenice in Venice, San Carlo Naples and Carlo Felice in Genoa. He has also sung at the Apulian Festival at Valle d'Istria and the Monteverdi Festival in Cremona.

He has also worked at the Vienna Musikverein, Salzburg Festival, Bavarian State Opera (Munich), Théâtre des Champs Elysées (Paris), Teatro Nacional Sao Carlos (Lisbon), Auditorio Nacional (Madrid), the Oslo Music Festival, and Wildbad Rossini Belcanto Festival.

Conductors he has collaborated with include Mark Minkowski, Daniel Harding, Ivor Bolton, Ottavio Dantone, Dmitri Jurowski, Alan Curtis, Riccardo Frizza and Andrea Marcon.

His roles include the title part in Dallapiccola's Il prigioniero (at La Scala), Idreno in Haydn’s Armida, il Re di Scozia in Händel’s Ariodante, Motezuma in Vivaldi’s Motezuma, Apollo in Händel’s Apollo e Dafne, Varo in Händel’s Ezio, Il Conte in Cimarosa’s Il Matrimonio Segreto.

His Mozart repertoire includes Leporello in Don Giovanni, both Count Almaviva and Figaro in Le Nozze di Figaro, Publio in La clemenza di Tito and Papageno in Die Zauberflöte. He has also sung Malatesta in Donizetti’s Don Pasquale in Naples and that of Idreno in Händel’s Armida at the Salzburg Festival as well as at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam.
