Born c1861.
Died Norwich, 5 February 1915.
English mezzo-soprano.
Kate Forster spent much of her career touring with the D'Oyly Carte organization. In the early years she sang the soubrette roles created by Jessie Bond, of which Mad Margaret was one of the later ones. On returning to the company in later years, she switched to the contralto parts. Later still, in 1910, she toured as Aunt Imogen in Herbert Beerbohm Tree’s production of Pinkie and the Fairies.
