Italian conductor.
Armondo Seppili spent two seasons with Sir Augustus Harris's company, in London (at Covent Garden) and on tour. He conducted several Scottish premieres, including Wagner (Meistersinger); Verdi (Falstaff); and Leoncavallo (Pagliacci). All works, even Wagner, were sung in Italian.
