Ralf Strehle.

Born Stuttgart.

German tenor.

Ralph Strehle studied in London with Teresa Goebel of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and in Glasgow at RSAMD (with Patricia McMahon, Jane Irwin and Peter Alexander Wilson). He also trained at the Bad Orb Opera Academy. He took part in masterclasses with Hans-Peter Blochwitz, David Wilson-Johnson, José Cura, Paul Hamburger and Sarah Walker.

While training in Glasgow he did chorus work for Scottish Opera (The Two Widows,  I Puritani & Manon under Francesco Corti) and the Scottish Chamber Orchestra (Fidelio under Sir Charles Mackerras, including a performance at the Barbican). With the Edinburgh Opera Players annual Wagner concerts he sang David (2007) and Froh (2008). Ralph appeared in Dublin as Canio in a chamber adaptation of Pagliacci. At the Bad Orb Opera Akademie his parts were Alfred Die Fledermaus (2009) and Don Ottavio (2010). Roles with Edinburgh Grand include Don Ottavio and Alfredo.
