Australian mezzo-soprano.
Miriam Sharrad made her debut with the Australian Opera Studio, where her roles included Dinah Trouble in Tahiti, Dorabella Così fan tutte, Dulcinée Don Quichotte, Dryad Ariadne auf Naxos, and Nicklausse/Muse Tales of Hoffmann. She has appeared with West Australian Opera as well as in New Zealand, Japan and Cambodia.

English Touring Opera (Marcellina, Mrs Fox Fantastic Mr Fox); Grange Park Opera (Filipyevna, Woodpecker/Frog Cunning Little Vixen); Renard Productions (Dinah Trouble in Tahiti); Opera South East (Fenena Nabucco); Open Door Opera (Gertrude Hansel and Gretel); Opera Room Productions (Mrs Galloway The Invited); Reform Club (Popova The Bear); New Sussex Opera (Paola The Princess of Trébizonde).
Concert performances include Waltraute Götterdämmerung (conducted by David Syrus) and Schwertleite Die Walküre (Philharmonia and Sir Andrew Davis).
In Scotland she has sung with Edinburgh Players Opera Group (Brangäne).
In Vienna (Musiktheatertage Festival) she created the role of Martha in The Butt by Susie Self.
