Ukrainian conductor.

Yarema Skibinsky started working at the Lviv Opera and Ballet House in 1972. He trained in Moscow as a conductor from 1976-8. He was Chief Conductor and Director of Music at the Kharkov Opera and Ballet House before becoming Chief Conductor and Musical Director of the Ukrainian National Opera of Odessa.

His repertoire includes 35 operas as well as a wide range of symphonic works. He has conducted many times for radio and TV as well as making recordings. Foreign tours have taken him to Georgia, Poland, Italy, Russia, Spain, Cyprus, and the Lebanon, as well as the UK.
