Hungarian (naturalized British) conductor.

In the 1950s he taught music at Trinity College, Glenalmond, a boarding school in Perthshire.  During these years he also conducted several local musical organisations, including Dundee Choral Union and Dundee Symphony Orchestra, and similar bodies in Perth.  He later moved to Kent, performing an important role in that county's musical education.
