Conductor.

Vasyl Vasylenko studied operatic and symphonic conducting at the Lvov National Music Academy, continuing his training from 1988 in Moscow, at the Bolshoi Theatre. He is a former Music Director and Principal Conductor of the Donbass Opera in Donetsk as well as General Diriector and Artistic Manager of the Odessa Opera House (Ukraine). He is currently conductor of the National Presidential Orchestra of the Ukraine and Artistic Director of the 'Golden Crown' International Arts and Opera Festival.

Operatic engagements in other countries include Belarus (National Bolshoi Opera Theatre), Moldova (National Opera House), Romania (Constanta Opera House), Croatia (Zagreb National Opera Theatre) and Canada (Mississauga Opera House).

Symphonic appearances include USA (Scottsdale Symphony Orchestra, Arizona) and Canada (New World Philharmonic, Montreal). He has also toured to Germany, Switzerland, Spain and Lebanon.
