This final batch of performances was tagged on as a continuation of the series revived at the end of 2001. The company made its first visit to the Brighton Festival, which had helped to fund Sally Beamish's new work, Monster, given its last outing between the two Mozart performances. The changes in the cast were in the roles of Guglielmo, with the return of the last interpreter of Don Giovanni, and Dorabella, with the arrival of Leah-Marian Jones. Altogether this cast was excellent and well matched. Sadly, the director's School for Lovers concept could provide little beyond instant shallow amusement. These artists could all have done so much better in a more intelligent setting.
