The Thursday matinee in Dundee was put on to the stage at the last minute to substitute for Donizetti's Daughter of the Regiment, since Zélie de Lussan, the company's only performer of the title role, had caught cold during the return journey from Balmoral in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
