It is difficult to imagine a student organisation being able to bring off a production of a work as challenging as Falstaff. The fact that the Academy, in one season, was able to mount successful stagings of Falstaff, Poppea, and The Vanishing Bridegroom , as well as a chamber version of Pelléas, speaks volumes about the quality of work being done there.
