Caroline Sharman had been more successful than most at reviving the superb full-scale Elijah Moshinsky production of Bohème. Here she was given the freedom to project her own ideas about the piece, and her updated staging was quite a success.
This twenty-one venue piano-accompanied tour (Scottish Opera Go Round) was followed in the spring of 2002 by a 7-date revival with a small orchestra and most of the same singers.
