Figaro is always a challenge for young performers, with its wide range of difficult roles. Here it was mounted in semi-staged form by Opera dei Lumi, emphasising the music as the principal dramatic force. Berwick is now beginning to get used to regular performances of opera, while Greyfriars is a relatively rare Edinburgh venue.
